If you are the victim of an impounded car it probably was not by us. Impounded vehicle is not part of our normall towing business operations. If you dont know who towed your vehicle you should contact the local police department having jusrisdiction and notify them. They should be able to determine if it is an impounded car or stolen. If it is an impounded vehicle they should be able to tell you who the impound tow truck company is and how to get it back. If you parked in an area with a tow away sign call the number on the sign as soon as possible because you will be paying more in impounded vehicle fees the longer it is there. Impounded car fees are expensive so we recomend that you do not take chances by parking illegally even just to run in real quick. Certain areas are high risk for impounded car activity. Those areas are neighborhoods around stadiums, apartment complexes, shopping complexes, event centers, swap meets, and other simular areas that are hard to find free parking at. Most towing companies follow the local laws but as in every industry there are a few bad apples. It is very difficult to prove your impounded vehicle was taken wrongfully so again we stress dont take chances, always park legally even if you dont see a tow truck lurking nearby. |
